Homemade chicken nuggets

Ingredients:

  • 200g minced chicken.
  • A splash of milk.
  • A slice of bread.
  • Optionally, a slice of soft cheese, sandwich type.
  • Flour, egg and breadcrumbs to bread them.
  • Oil.
  • Salt and pepper.
 
Preparation:

Put the minced chicken in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Then, remove the crust from the slice of bread and add it to the bowl along with the minced meat. Add a splash of milk. The crumb and the milk will give the chicken nugget that creaminess we want.

If desired, add the cheese and mix everything together using your hand or a spoon until everything is well combined. Then, let it rest for a few minutes in the refrigerator to allow the mixture to set.

  • Now, with your hand, take a small portion of the dough, flatten it a little - giving it that characteristic nugget shape - and cover it with flour, egg and breadcrumbs (in that order).
  • Fry them in plenty of oil over high heat. Remove and let rest for 1 minute on absorbent paper. You can also bake them.

And they are ready! A homemade fast food dish.
