WE COOK WITH THE LITTLE ONES
December has arrived, and with it cooking workshops for the school's little ones.
We approach nutrition with them in a different way, letting them get dirty with a little flour. We recognize fruits and vegetables, and their importance for healthy growth, emphasizing the consumption of five portions a day.
This is how we made a sweet preparation of “Orange Cookies” and talked about the importance of vitamin C for our body’s defenses.
Then, as a preparation, we made savory “Carrot Scones” and worked on the importance of vitamin A and its benefits for vision.
We ended the year celebrating in the school kitchen in full color.
