(Makes 6 to 8 servings)
Ingredients:
- 1 package lasagna dough, uncooked
- 250 gr of lean minced meat
- 250 gr of sausage
- 1 onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 cup tomato sauce seasoned with oregano
- 1 can of diced canned tomatoes
- 3 cups of ricotta
- 2 beaten eggs
- 2 tablespoons dried or fresh parsley
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 500 grams of grated mozzarella cheese
Preparation:
Cook the lasagna dough according to package directions, then drain.
Meanwhile, in a skillet over medium heat, brown the beef, skinless sausages and onion. Add the garlic, undrained tomatoes, tomato sauce and seasoning. Simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Separately, in a large bowl mix together the ricotta, Parmesan cheese, eggs and seasonings.
In a large, deep, lightly oiled baking dish, spread out 1/2 cup of the meat mixture. Then add the layers as follows: one-third of the lasagna dough, one-third of the cheese mixture, one-third of the meat mixture, and one-third of the mozzarella cheese.
Repeat the layers until you finish with the mozzarella. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake at 180º C for 45 minutes to 1 hour, until hot and bubbly.
Remove and let sit for 10 minutes.
