8 BASIC RULES

«The foundations for making a healthy choice are always the same»

Whether you choose to eat out for work or to bring food to school, or if you can eat at home, the basics for making a healthy choice are always the same.

Healthy eating: 8 basic rules

  • It is very important to select foods of plant origin on a daily basis.
  • If possible, eat them raw to maintain all their vitamin and mineral content.
  • Include legumes (beans, lentils or chickpeas). They are generally consumed in the winter months, but we can include them at a higher temperature in the form of salads with egg and parsley or in the form of hamburgers, for example.
  • Eat plenty of fish throughout the week, as they contain healthy fats compared to red meat.
  • The chosen preparation methods are grilled, steamed, boiled, baked or broiled.
  • The best accompaniments are vegetables.
  • The best desserts are fresh fruit.
  • The hydration drink should always be water as the beverage of choice.
